He’s here, he’s
queer and he has a lot to get off his chest! Welcome to the comedy world of
Dennis Fowler. "Hyper-realistic and hilarious", according to comedy
superstar JAMIE KENNEDY, Dennis went from new-kid-on-the-block to working
alongside industry heavyweights such as Kennedy, LISA LAMPANELLI, MARGARET CHO
and more in the span of three short years. Veteran comedian DIANE NICHOLS summed
up his act this way: "If LEWIS BLACK and MARIO CANTONE had a baby, the
result would be Dennis..."
Spotted on stage at the
legendary HOLLYWOOD IMPROV just one year into his stand-up career, COMEDY
CENTRAL quickly signed him as a featured comedian on their hit series PREMIUM
BLEND. "When I saw him kill the audience with a five minute bit on ROSIE O’DONNELL
coming out of the closet and admitting she was really a bear, I knew we had to
have him", said PREMIUM BLEND’s Chris Young. "I mean, what kind of
mind thinks up such stuff?"
Called "the hottest
up-and-coming comedian working today" by ABC WORLD NEWS anchor RON CORNING,
Dennis has branded himself with his biting political humor for the network.
"What separates Dennis from most other comedians who tackle politics is
that he doesn’t take sides. He skewers left and right equally", commented
Ron.
In a perfect example of the
cream rising to the top, his debut on COMEDY CENTRAL started the ball rolling.
Dennis explained the chain of successful events this way: "ABC saw me on
COMEDY CENTRAL and asked me to do some on-air political humor for them. Then,
SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO saw the ABC NEWS spot and asked me to be a featured
comedian for them. Then, THE ALL COMEDY RADIO NETWORK heard the SIRIUS material
and asked me if I’d do some radio stuff for them. The response to my act has
been tremendous and I’m very honored".
Dennis can be seen on the
stages of the biggest clubs in the country, such as CAROLINE’S, THE ICE HOUSE,
THE COMEDY CELLAR, THE LAUGH FACTORY, THE HOLLYWOOD IMPROV and more. He’s also
a featured comedian for ATLANTIS EVENTS CRUISES.
